The GERMANUS Pad Humidifying system for Humidors is a new innovative product for Humidor Humidifying.This solution is cost-effective, simple to use and works really well. Instead of conventional crystals or a sponge, this employs Fleece-Sheets, which effects the desired values of 65-70% rel. air humidity. This system delivers the humidity even more moderately than crystals and allows for a really steady level of Humidity. The moderate delivery of humidity is in favour of the tobacco leafs, which have enough time to absorb the Humidity, and makes the Humidifiers easy to handle.  Dimensions of the Pads: 5 x 5 cmMain Advantages of the Pad-System compared to other solutions:The Pad only needs short watering and absorbs the water immediately. (Please also have a look at my video.)The main advantage to sponges is the controlled and moderate delivery of humidity. Additionally, the pads are able absorb a lot more of water than an ordinary sponge could do.The advantage to crystals is the design of the Pads. The compact form makes them even easier to handle than crystals. (q.v. Video) This Pad is able to absorb distilled water as well as all Humidifier Solutions. The Refuelling is as simple as sponges are to handle. If the Pads are dried out, please water them again. Basically, you can use these Pads as long as you like and refill them as often as you like. Due to the favourable price I recommend to exchange the Pads after several months - e.g. after one year.Please choose a place for the pads as you are used to with other Humidifying Solutions. As applicable to all Humidifying products, checking the humidity with the help of a Hygrometer makes sense, although this solution is trustworthy.

This cigar humidor humidifier box can be placed like an ordinary cigar inside the Humidor. I recommend using a Humidifier for ca. 25 cigars. Due to the longish design, the Humidifier delivers the humidity additionally equally.Dimensions: 16.0 cm | Height 2.0 cmFor ca 25 cigarsInformation about Crystal Quantity: Our GERMANUS absorb multiple hundred (!) times their initial size of liquid. Accordingly, the included quantitiy is calculated. That quantity may be lower than some users might think at first glance: More crystals would lift the lid or press themselves through the grille. The limited quantity is important and an actual quality factor of our product.Soaking the Humidifier Box: Our GERMANUS humidifier can be soaked easily. Please place it for a couple of minutes in distilled water. 15 Minutes should be enough to do the job. Alternatively, you can insert water at the grille with the help of an injection. Syringes with oder without needle can be bought at a pharmacy or printer shop. By osmotic powers it’s possible that water wouldn’t drain inside due to a inner vacuum, otherwise. The same of course applies to the known humidor liquids. You will have to deal with the same physical issue that makes a diving bell working. The vacuum cannot escape because of the counter-pressure. How frequently this phenomenon appears with humidifiers also depends on the fluid’s density that you’re using. Soaked once, the whole issue will be solved.

Brebbia Electronic Humidor HumidifierThe electronic Brebbia humidor humidifier is, in a way, the manufactory version of an electronic humidor humidifier. Here you can see that enthusiasts assemble or solder together the product in small series. The Brebba humidifier is correspondingly easy to maintain. With a little expertise, maintenance and replacement of all parts is possible.This is a really great feature, which should be emphasised especially in times of sustainability. Personally, as the owner of GERMANUS, I really like the product. As a hobbyist and tinkerer myself, I used to build very similar systems for my own use.
