GERMANUS V-CutterThe V-cutter had its resurrection a few years ago and is today one of the most popular cutting tools for cigars. We think this happened for good cause. The v-cut technique has some important advantages.V-Cutter can be operated blindly. Just press the cigar to the cutting mechanism and you can do the cut. Anyone who ever smoked a cigar while driving a car would have wished for such a cutter.The V-Cut gives you a nice big cut opening, but without fraying the cover sheeth of your cigar. Peeling off the cover sheet becomes less likely. In addition, the cap is cut clean and deep by the cigar cutter. A postcut is unlikely. In fact, V-cutters are a perfect choice for cigars that tend to unwrap commonly. The V-Cut goes through the layers at one angle, while a standard S-Cut will leave the edges of the layers around the head of the cigar open for unwrapping.Optionally you can make another cut vertically to the first cut. This results in a star-shaped twice as large and maximum cut opening. Finally, this a cutter for cigars of all sizes is available.Our GERMANUS V-cutter offers excellent quality. This means that the correct amount of crystals is smaller than some new users might imagine at first sight: More humidifier crystals would blow off the lid or swell through the grid. Limiting the quantity is therefore a necessity.Note on watering the humidifier:The humidifier is supplied with multilingual instructions. Its use is almost self-explanatory, but some users may have questions at the beginning. If the humidifier does not absorb any liquid, there is no malfunction, but usually a user error, which is easy to explain and avoid. If a humidor does not achieve the desired values, this explanation is also a possible solution.Simply place it in distilled water for a few minutes. 15 minutes should be enough. Alternatively, you can use a syringe of water at the slits. Due to the osmotic forces, it is possible that the water will otherwise not reach the inside due to the internal pressure.Physically, the same phenomenon is behind it, which makes the function of a diving bell possible. The vacuum cannot escape due to the counter pressure of the water. Depending on the density of the liquid, this can also occur more or less frequently in humidifier boxes. Once humidified, this should no longer be a problem.

GERMANUS "The Stick 1" Quality Torch Lighter for Cigars and Pipes with 4 Flames in GoldThis is probably the most reliable Jetflame Cigar Lighter that I've seen so far in the price range. With Filling Level Indication and Cigar Punch.CigarsThis is a 4-flame-lighter, which enables you to burn even big cigars within seconds. It may leave a menacing mark, but is actually a well manageable tool.The lighter is manufactured in a sturdy way. A fuel gauge on the size allows checking the fill level. The fold-out cigar punch at the bottom is sharp and a usable tool. The flame size is of course adjustable.The major problem of jet flame lighters is the trusty function: Some cheap lighters are euipped with jets of minor value. As a result the lighter often does not works as one would like to.That's why I checked the lighter lines of many manufacturers personally. I was looking for a lighter that is of trustworthy quality at an adequate price. Finally, I chose this lighter after long descision process. You buy trademark quality that is not comparable to similar looking goods sometimes sold as cheapie lighter that are sometimes of minor quality.The difference: The feeling, the control element and last but not least the functionality with well working jets. Quality gas cartridges can be ordered together with the ligher.
