Original Missouri Meerschaum Co. Quality Corncob PipeThe pipe loved by Douglas MacArthur.Shape: MarcusThis Corncob Pipe is equipped with an unfiltered bit. Replacement stem bits always in stock. With Bent Pipe Stem only. Original Missouri Meerschaum Co. Product, Made in the USA. This is a shape from the Premium Line of Corncobs. The price may be a tad higher than for usual Corncob Pipes, we take the view that the pipe and the long-lasting pleasure are worth the price.Length: 127 mmBowl Height: 45 mmChamber Diameter: 19mmChamber Depth: 32 mmSmoking a Corncob PipeCornpipes are made of the corn’s cob, but show stiffness equal to briar wood. The material absorbs condensate very well. This makes these pipes also a good choice for beginners. It goes without saying that this concerns each tobacco. If you prefer smoking without filter, also try a Corn Cob. You will like the dry smoke for just a few bucks.Corn Cobs are Lightweight Pipes. A Corncob Pipe brings only ca. 30g on the balance (depends on the actual model). No conditioning needed as applies to Briar or normal Meerschaum Pipes. The first smokes may just show a light pleasant taste of corn, which may remind you of popcorn.Corn Cob Pipes expressly don’t need much attention. The basic question usually asked is how long-living and durable a Cornpipe could be. The Original Missouri Meerschaum Corncob Pipes are a traditional product, because these Corncob pipes are of a great sturdy quality. These pipes are nearly shock-resistant and quite indestructible.Burn-Outs as you could heard of can quite surely excluded for these genuine pipes, even if provoke intentionally. The stiffness of this corn pipe’s bowl will resist the burning tobacco.Saturation, as described for some corn pipes, doesn’t apply to these Original Missouri Meerschaum Co. Corncob Pipes: It’s true that these pipes will be saturated with condensate one day. Strong flavoured tobacco will over time block the pores of the material and impede the “breathing” of your pipe.Until then you will have smoke it so often that it will really have done its duty then. With reference to daily use such a pipe will last for many months resp. years.A main feature and advantage of Corncobs compared to usual briar pipes is the dry smoke that you will enjoy. As the material absorbs condensate truly well it cannot affect the smoking pleasure.Crossover is also a minor problem with Corncob Pipes. If you just want to take one single pipe with you, but change the tobacco, a Corn Cob offers you the chance to smoke different tobaccos from one single bowl without great crossover.Sturdy, durable pipe, with neutral taste during the smoking experience, light weight and so affordable that replacing it is bearable.Sturdy: These pipes are nearly shock-resistant and quite indestructible. No Burn-Outs!Durable: Will do its duty.Neutral Taste: Highly absorbent material for a dry smoke, which also makes crossover a minor problem.Light Weight: A Corncob Pipe brings only ca. 30g on the balance (depends on the actual model). So affordable that replacing it is bearable.

Corncob Wood Pipe Mod 1Shape: Wood Apple, BentThe classical Missouri Meerschaum Co Hardwood Pipes are known. These pipes are specially modified. We sandblast each single pipe from hand. It's a semi-freehand Hardwood Corncob. Modified in Germany. The treatment results in the design, which is depicted. We hold the view that this is what the manufacturer wanted to actually build: A natural pipe with a natural finish. We don't seal the surface with wax or varnish. The price is compared to regular wood pipes set at a tad higher level than usual. This is due to the handwork that's invested into each single one of these. I think that's a very considerable price for an individually made semi-freehand Pipe.Length: 155 mmBowl Tobacco Chamber: 19 mmWeight: ca. 35gWith 6 mm Filter System

Corncob
The offered Corn Cob pipes are the world-renowned original products from Missouri Meerschaum Co. in the USA, known for their excellent quality.
Missouri Meerschaum original Corncob Corn Cob pipes are as hard as Meerschaum and absorb an astonishing amount of condensate without becoming soft. The smoking experience is very similar to that of a normal white meerschaum pipe. Due to these characteristics, they are also correspondingly neutral in taste, even with different tobaccos. Crossovers must be deliberately provoked, and even then, they are less pronounced in a Corn Cob pipe compared to similar briar pipes.
The low weight of a Corn Cob pipe is also noteworthy. The normal model, including tobacco filling, weighs only about 25g when ready to smoke.
About the smoking duration of a Corn Cob pipe: Such a corncob can last for generations, but considering the price, you will enjoy it for a long time. The prejudice that corn cob pipes are only good for a few fillings and are generally very delicate does not apply to these quality pipes.
In principle, the lifespan of a corncob does not differ much from that of a briar pipe. A stock of corncob pipes of this quality is a faithful companion over many years, especially outdoors in the fresh air. Due to their low weight, the pipes are also wonderful for clenching in the mouth. They can withstand a fall without complaint.
Corncob pipes are often held in the mouth as utility pipes. With the inexpensive replacement stems, you can freely fix the corn cob pipe with your teeth and smoke hands-free according to your whims. Corncobs are therefore not only ideal pipes for driving due to their low weight.
