We have also made it available in both a straight and bent version. The Corn Cob Pipe has a tall, billiard-style bowl with a hardwood plug and a green and cream colored label on the bottom. The acrylic stem is green with white swirl, and the shank is capped with an antique brass band. We don't seal the surface with wax or varnish.The price is compared to regular wood pipes set at a tad higher level than usual. This is due to the handwork that's invested into each single one of these. The Franklin shape is a remake of the old pre war Corncob Shape with the square shank and a square ferrule. It got the spool like bowl shape with cutted sides. So it can be placed easiyl on every surface.This shape demands for a lot of hand work. That's why it's only a limited edition that was available for a short time only. We were able to get our fingers on  a little batch thanks to Missouri Meerschaum Co..
